Upma with Roasted Cashews

Soft semolina upma studded with toasted cashews and crackling mustard.

Ingredients

  • semolina1 cup
  • cashews0.25 cup
  • onion1
  • curry leaves1 sprig
  • ghee1 tbsp

Method

  1. 1Roast semolina until fragrant; set aside.
  2. 2Temper mustard, curry leaves and onion in ghee.
  3. 3Add water, then the semolina, and steam fluffy with cashews.
