A comforting one-pot rice and lentil khichdi brightened with lemon and herbs.

Ingredients

  • rice0.75 cup
  • moong dal0.5 cup
  • ginger1 inch
  • lemon1
  • coriander1 handful

Method

  1. 1Wash rice and moong dal together.
  2. 2Pressure-cook with turmeric, ginger and water until soft.
  3. 3Stir through lemon juice and lots of coriander.
