Dal Tadka with Jeera Rice

Everyday yellow dal finished with a sizzling cumin-garlic tadka.
Ingredients
- toor dal1 cup
- garlic4 cloves
- cumin1 tsp
- rice1 cup
- turmeric0.5 tsp
Method
- 1Pressure-cook the lentils with turmeric until soft.
- 2Prepare a tadka of cumin, garlic and dry chilli in ghee.
- 3Pour over the dal and serve with cumin rice.
